Dr. Diptendra Sarkar is a consultant surgeon, surgical oncologist, and breast surgeon.
His major work on locally advanced breast cancer, oncoplastic surgery of breast research on the molecular biology of breast cancer has received various international recognition

He is also an expertise in minimal access surgery which includes advanced cancer surgery like colonic and rectal surgery and gastronomic cancer surgery and other laparoscopic surgeries
