Dr. Diptendra Sarkar is a consultant surgeon, surgical oncologist, and breast surgeon

 

In 2011 he became one of the youngest Professors of Surgery at the IPGMER popularly known as PG Hospital.

Prof. Dr. Diptendra Sarkar is a consultant surgeon, surgical oncologist, and breast surgeon

Dr. Diptendra Sarkar was an honorable member of the governing council of the Association of Surgeons of India between 2012 and 2019.

He was the president of the association of breast surgeons of India between 2017 and 2019

He is the founder secretary of the association of The Asian society of Mastology.

He is an examiner of with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and with various undergraduate and postgraduate Universities of India

He is also an examiner with the National Board of Examination in New Delhi.

He is a HAUCK visiting professor at mayo clinic Rochester USA
